Review of the opening year 2017 and news

Already more than one year ago the official opening of the THE ONYA RESORT & SPA took place. It was a great celebration with 80 invited guests – after 4 years of preparations, rezoning and almost 2 years of construction time. Architect Hanspeter Alijew and the owners Roger and Bernadette Geissberger were working together optimally. The hotel has been running at full capacity since the beginning of 2017.

In January 2017, the famous Swiss magazine “Schweizer Illustrierte” came in order to write a double-sided report.

In July, soccer club FC Aarau stayed here for one week for its training camp.

In September 2017, the first wedding took place, of Nadja and Thomas Bösinger, the former tourism director of Bellwald.

As well in September, there was the “White Socks” event, consisting of 28 leading entrepreneurs in Aargau.

Again FC Aarau did its trainings camp in July 2018 here.
